Memories and Us

Dear S,

A walk together. Sharing how the day went. To get mock-angry. To think all day of the one word that describes you, to find it and then smile to myself. The phone calls made for no reason. Recollected these & the other waylaid memories, tonight.

We all have our different versions of freedom. The sense of being free. Mine happens to be the time spent with you.

Even sharing a pint together.

Such cliches are welcome any day, at least for me. I never could figure out why it wasn’t enough for us.

Thanks,

The Graduate
